It’s been a whirlwind year and with the arrival of thanksgiving, we’d like to take a moment to thank all of our employees. Our team is made up of amazingly talented and hardworking people. We truly think of ourselves as a family and as such, wish each and every one of you, a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving. You deserve it.
To every employee who’s helped grow our company, every vendor who’s gone above and beyond, every worker who’s shared their feedback with us to help us improve our designs, every customer who’s supported the Kishigo brand, thank you. We couldn’t do what we do without you, and you have our utmost gratitude.
Kishigo Believes in Giving Back
In honor of the giving season, we decided to work with one of our favorite organizations, Samaritan’s Purse. One of their annual missions is Operation Christmas Child®. It was started in 1993 when its founder was asked to help fill shoeboxes with gifts for children in Bosnia. In the first year alone, they were able to send 28,000 boxes to children in need. For many of these kids, this was the first gift they ever received!
Every year since then, they’ve continued the tradition—filling shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for children around the world. To date, they’ve filled and sent 198 million shoeboxes to 170 countries.
We were so inspired by their story that we wanted to contribute to their cause. So far we’ve filled, packed, and collected over 80 boxes that will be sent to one of the Samaritan’s Purse processing centers so that they can be sent to children in need.
